Levels and Materials

We will learn basic expressions to greet and introduce ourselves, to introduce someone, to speak about our job or order at a bar. About grammar, we will learn alphabet, articles, masculine/feminine genres, singular/plural and present tense of regular verbs.

CEFR level A1

For elementary students who has yet taken some Italian lessons. We will learn basic language function to order at a restaurant, make a reservation at a hotel, speak about our travel, describe a city, do shopping. About grammar, we will learn present tense, passato prossimo, reflexive form of the verbs and some basic pronouns.

CEFR level A1

For post-elementary students that have studied Italian for at least 80 hours. We will learn how to espress opinions, to describe habits in the past, to make proposes, to give advices, to speak about food, clothes and job and to speak about projects. About grammar, we will study the most of pronouns, indicativo imperfetto, future, condizionale presente, imperative and congiuntivo presente.

CEFR level A2

For intermediate students that have studied Italian for at least 200 hours. We will learn how to espress doubts and opinions, to explain motivations, to describe objects, to make suppositions, to do a claim, to speak about books and movies, to express hopes and to refer someone else's speech. About grammar, we will study indicativo trapassato, all tenses of congiuntivo, condizionale passato, gerundio.

CEFR level B1

For upper-intermediate students that have studied Italian for at least 300 hours. We will learn how to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions, to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers, to explain a viewpoint on a topical issue, giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

CEFR level B1-B2

For advanced students that have studied Italian for at least 400 hours. We will learn how to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning, to express ourselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions, to use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes, to produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing a controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
